Let me introduce myself
I'm a project manager at PCL Construction in Halifax and a licensed electrical engineer in Nova Scotia, Alberta and Texas. Before Canada I spent thirteen years in Qatar on oil and gas, airport and waterfront projects, from field engineer to E&I project manager. I build the tools on this site in my own time.

Are the calculators free?+
Yes. No account, no email, no limits. They are for education and early design checks, not sealed engineering.
Can you stamp drawings?+
I'm licensed in Nova Scotia, Alberta and Texas. Sealing depends on the jurisdiction and scope, so ask and I'll tell you straight.
What do you need for a takeoff?+
The electrical drawing set, specifications, the project location, and your bid date. Addenda as they come.
How do you price the work?+
Fixed fee per takeoff or review, agreed after the scope call. Project controls work is by retainer.
